Sat, May 25 Rondout Valley Music Booster This event is a fundraiser for the Rondout Valley High School Music department. It is being organized by high school senior, Alex Quigley, for his National Honor Society Project, along with much help and organization from his friend, Erin Petti, sophomore. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the music department so that rising students can enjoy the same quality of music education and performance, as budget costs loom ahead. The line up of local bands scheduled to play at the event includes: The Lighthouse, Kurt Henry, The Saints of Swing, Dorraine Scofield and Friends, and Mister Oh!. The highly talented local musicians are donating their time to help support the music and arts in public schools. Food, T-shirts and local merchant discount cards will be available for purchase at the pavilion.
